Ghanaian Handwoven Medium Bolga Bicycle Basket

Ghanaian Handwoven Medium Bolga Bicycle Basket

These medium handwoven Bolga bicycle baskets fit perfectly on your bicycle with two leather straps and buckles. These bold baskets are hand woven in rural Ghana from the durable elephant grass and are wrapped with soft hand dyed cow leather.   These woven baskets are handmade by Ghanaian artisans from 100% recycled and organic materials. Your purchase of this item is an excellent way to support rural artisans throughout Africa and help them build healthy communities.

14" x 8" x 9"

Please note that these baskets can be easily reshaped by immersing your basket in cool water, holding the basket in the water for 60 seconds.  Pull the basket out of the water, shaking off excess water.  Let the basket sit for a couple of minutes to allow the water to penetrate the straw.  Push the basket back into shape.  Allow to dry, undisturbed, out of the sun in a dry space.
